Senzo Meyiwa murder: Three years on and still no arrests

Police investigations have yielded no results despite a R250,000 reward offer for any information.

JOHANNESBURG - Exactly three years since football star Senzo Meyiwa was murdered and with still no arrests, the police ministry says that investigations are continuing.

Meyiwa was killed in an alleged botched robbery at the home of his girlfriend singer Kelly Khumalo in Vosloorus.

Police investigations have yielded no results despite a R250,000 reward offered for any information.

Police ministry spokesperson Vuyo Maga says that he cannot divulge much about the investigations.

“No, we can’t. Remember each and every investigation the police, ever since the case started, have followed every different leads. So we’re waiting for the leads.”
