[LISTEN] Lindiwe Sisulu on Zuma, Khwezi & state of ANC

ANC presidential hopeful Lindiwe Sisulu says Jacob Zuma was chosen in the hope that he could offer the country a solution the party needed and had the necessary background & understanding of the ANC.

JOHANNESBURG - African National Congress (ANC) presidential candidate Lindiwe Sisulu says we should all take the blame for the fact that Jacob Zuma is still the president of the country.

She says she has taken responsibility herself as she was part of the group that put Zuma at the top.

Sisulu says they chose him as they believed that he could offer the country a solution that it needed and had the necessary background and understanding of the African National Congress.

Zuma has been implicated in scandals that include being linked to the Guptas and state capture, Nkandla, corruption charges and rape.

Asked her thoughts on Zuma's rape accuser, the late Fezeka Kuzwayo, she said: “I believe she believes she was raped.”
