JOHANNESBURG - The South African Weather Service has issued a watch for severe thunderstorms for parts of Gauteng on Friday afternoon.
Forecasters say there is a 60% chance of showers and thundershowers in the province.
Forecaster Mbavhi Maliage said: “We are expecting more of a 60% chance of showers and thundershowers over the northern part. From the eastern part of North West coming into the northern part of Gauteng as well as some of the western parts of Mpumalanga. At this point, we just have a watch out for some possible severe thunderstorms over the Tshwane district.”
