Killers of Philadelphia farm owner still at large

Fagan’s been hailed as a hero he managed to fight off two of the assailants who had attacked his teenage daughter and her friend.

CAPE TOWN – The four killers of a Philadelphia farm owner are still on the run.

Mark Fagan was shot during a birthday party at his house at the weekend.

Fagan’s been hailed as a hero as he managed to fight off two of the assailants who had attacked his teenage daughter and her friend.

In the ensuing altercation, he was shot and later died from his wound.

The police’s Frederick van Wyk says: “The motive is unknown and the suspects fled the scene on foot. A murder case was registered for further investigation.

“Anyone with information about this fatal shooting incident should contact the Crime Stop line on 08600 10 111.”
