After severe storm, Gauteng set for sunny days
Gauteng residents can expect sunny blue skies for the rest of the week after a day of severe thunderstorms.
JOHANNESBURG – Gauteng residents can expect sunny blue skies for the rest of the week after a severe thunderstorm struck the province.
Thunderstorms in Gauteng on Monday afternoon have left some low-lying areas waterlogged.
There were heavy delays on major routes as well as reports of damage to buildings.
Climatologist Simon Gear says that Tuesday is going to be a beautiful day.
“It’s one of those days where the air has been scrubbed clean by the rain but it will be chilly. It’s going to stay dry all through the week.”
