Brown to hold special general meeting for Eskom

Brown was addressing the Auditor-General while presenting her department's annual report for the 2016/2017 financial year.
She says the special meeting in November will conclude a number of pressing issues at Eskom.
“The advertising process to renew board members of certain companies closed on 8 September and candidates are currently undergoing a vetting process. Among the new board’s first mandate will be the appointment of a permanent group executive and restoring the credibility of its operation.”
Brown also noted the recent suspensions at the power utility and says she's now received Eskom’s internal report explaining its relationship with Gupta-linked company Trillian.
