CAPE TOWN - A man implicated in a shooting at a popular Camps Bay restaurant has made a brief appearance in court.

Twenty-five-year-old Jordan Fabe was arrested this past Friday.

Two people sustained gunshot wounds when an unknown number of suspects stormed Café Caprice in April this year firing several shots.

The Hawks' Serious Organised Crime Unit took over the case after realising the incident was linked to the alleged club scene turf war in the Western Cape.

Hawks Spokesperson Lloyd Ramovha said: “We can confirm that a 25-year-old suspect implicated in the shooting incident at a popular Camps Bay club in April this year has made a brief appearance in the Cape Town Magistrates court this morning. He was facing two counts of attempted murder.”

The case has been postponed to next week.
