JOHANNESBURG - Johannesburg Mayor Herman Mashaba says he's disgusted by the racist marks addressed at MMC for Public Safety Michael Sun this week.

During the Johannesburg CBD leg of the Congress of South Africa Trade Unions (Cosatu) march Sun was asked by the mayor to receive a memorandum and meet representatives from Cosatu.

Sun says one Cosatu leader introduced him as 'Mr Lee' and referred to him as 'Fong Kong'.

He says he was ridiculed and belittled with racial marks.

“They made reference that this Fong Kong comes from the Chinese mall.”

He says it’s disappointing that Cosatu leaders just stood there and watched while the crowd laughed.
