Diving unit continues to search for missing Mossel Bay man
It's believed a man working on a ship has disappeared overboard.
CAPE TOWN - A police diving unit will continue to search the coast around Mossel Bay as it's believed a man working on a ship has disappeared overboard.
The incident was reported to the National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) and a search party was sent out on Sunday.
The NSRI’s Craig Lambinon says a police investigation is underway while the search continues for the man.
“The NSRI dispatched two sea rescue crafts following reports that a 37-year-old Port Nolloth man had gone missing. They had searched for him during the night. After being unable to find him, they raised the alarm.”
