Man’s body found in Vaal Dam

JOHANNESBURG - A body of a man has been found in the Vaal Dam after he drowned at Kylie Bay.

It’s understood the 28-year-old was fishing on Tuesday from a canoe when he fell into the water.

The National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI)says the body was discovered after an intensive search.

NSRI spokesperson's Craig Lambinon said: “The police dive unit located and recovered the body of a man and the police have opened an inquest docket.”
