October could see highest petrol price in 3 years
The Agricultural Business Chamber says both diesel and petrol prices could go up by as much as 3%.
CAPE TOWN - The Agricultural Business Chamber has warned petrol prices could increase to its highest levels in three years in October.
The chamber expects a hike for the third consecutive month in October.
Agbiz's Wandile Sihlobo says both diesel and petrol prices could go up by as much as 3%.
“We think this is mainly the function of the Brent Crude because their prices in the past month or so have increased by roughly 4%, compared to what we saw in August. So, that’s what’s been the underpinning factor behind this.”
