JOHANNESBURG - Public Enterprises Minister Lynne Brown says there will be serious consequences for Eskom if it's unable to provide her with a response to questions regarding issues at the utility by Tuesday.

Eskom's interim board is expected to answer to brown's queries concerning its business relationship with Gupta-linked company trillion.

The minister says she's concerned with Eskom's tardiness in responding after she sent them direct questions two weeks ago.

Brown says it’s imperative she receives Eskom's response on Tuesday to resolve the issues at the utility.

“If they don’t respond to the questions then I will have to act against the board, I appoint the board and they have to take action against the executive.”
