Physician David Katz says because children are active and can’t regulate their temperature like adults do, they should be encouraged to drink more water.
JOHANNESBURG - Physician David Katz says it’s very hot so it is important to stay hydrated by drinking water.
“It’s important that we focus on hydration especially when it comes to our children because as adults we have the ability to process heat better than they do. They sweat more and need more hydration.”
Katz says children can’t regulate their temperature like adults do.
