VUWANI – The Limpopo government has agreed to open the Vuwani traffic station and regional municipal offices on Thursday.

Spokesperson Phuti Seloba has told Eyewitness News that the facilities will be run by the Vhembe District Municipality.

Fresh protests broke out again this week over demarcation.

Seloba says the Limpopo government hopes that the opening of the offices will end protests in the Vuwani area.

It’s unclear whether schooling and businesses will also reopen.

Meanwhile, the pro-Makhado task team, which is leading the protest, is locked in a meeting with local authorities.
