CAPE TOWN - A budding chartered accountant hailing from a KwaZulu-Natal township is helping learners realise their dreams by crunching numbers.
Lwazi Nxumalo, an alumnus of the University of Cape Town, has been volunteering his services by tutoring maths to high school learner from Gugulethu, Langa and Khayelitsha for the past year.
The 26-year-old who grew up in a township near Chesterville is currently in his third year of articles at a Cape Town accounting firm.
He says he joined the Fun Learning for Youth volunteer tutoring service to inspire youth from disadvantaged backgrounds to dream big like he did.
