CAPE TOWN - Six suspects have been arrested in two separate drug busts in Parow in the Western Cape over the past 24 hours.
In the latest incident, two men were apprehended by the City of Cape Town's Gang and Drug Task Team on Saturday.
Law enforcement officials found dagga weighing 1.4 kilograms at a house.
Meanwhile, four suspects were taken into custody on Friday night after they were found in the possession of 1.1 kilograms of dagga.
Officials also made arrests in Hanover Park and Manenberg.
The city's Zelda Martin said, “The city’s Gang and Drug Task Team has recovered two firearms in Hanover Park and Manenberg. Officers responded to an alert in Manenberg and spotted two suspects, one managed to get away but officers arrested a 23-year-old and recovered a pistol.”
