Makhosi Khoza: ANC leaders intent on breaking up society
The outspoken parliamentarian became emotional has she spoke of the anguish she and her family have been subjected to at receiving death threats.
JOHANNESBURG – Senior African National Congress (ANC) Member of Parliament (MP) Makhosi Khoza says that at every turn, the party’s leaders seem intent on breaking up society.
The outspoken parliamentarian became emotional as she spoke of the anguish she and her family have been subjected to at receiving death threats.
She’s repeatedly slammed President Jacob Zuma in public.
Speaking at the Menell Media Exchange conference in Johannesburg at the weekend, Khoza stressed that she won’t be intimidated.
Khoza says that after some time, she broke ranks with the party.
She says that the Cabinet reshuffle and the anti-Zuma marches earlier this year confirmed to her that there is no leadership in the ANC.
She says while she will carry on her fight, she’s only human.
“I’m made of human flesh and blood and my children are everything to me. If there’s one thing that breaks me, it’s the pain that my children are going through, but I won’t stop, it’s for them and it’s for everyone.”
Khoza has described Zuma’s leadership as patriarchal and intolerable.
