Police hunt rhino poachers following Kruger National Park shootout

JOHANNESBURG – Police are searching for rhino poachers involved in a shootout with rangers at the Kruger National Park.
It’s understood that the rangers cornered the criminals in the park on Tuesday when the shootout began.
One poacher was shot dead while two others managed to flee the scene.
The police’s Moatshe Ngoepe says: “We’re still following them and calling upon all members of the community who might be aware of them to contact the nearest police station. Our investigations are still continuing.”
