Milnerton special needs school pupil (17) robbed, stabbed
It's understood three suspects approached the 17-year-old on Tuesday morning and demanded he hands over his cell phone.
CAPE TOWN - A learner from De Grendel Special Needs School in Milnerton was robbed and stabbed while on his way to school. It's understood three suspects approached the 17-year-old on Tuesday morning and demanded he hands over his cellphone.
When the boy refused, they stabbed him.
Two other learners from the school were also been robbed of their cellphones in separate incidents while on their way to school on Tuesday.
It's unclear whether the same suspects were involved.
The police's Noloyiso Rwexana says two cases of robbery were opened.
“I can confirm that a case of robbery has been opened for investigation after a 17-year-old learner was robbed and stabbed by unidentified suspects yesterday morning in Milnerton. The suspects are yet to be arrested.”
