Sisulu takes anti-corruption stance in presidential campaign
Lindiwe Sisulu says anti-corruption is one of the focus areas in her presidential campaign within the party.
Sisulu, who is also Human Settlements Minister, says there must be disciplinary processes for all government officials publicly accused of corruption.
Sisulu says there will continue to be problems within the ruling party if good people remain silent.
The presidential hopeful made the comments at Walter Sisulu Square in Kliptown after giving a keynote address to a packed hall on Saturday.
Sisulu says her anti-corruption stance forms a large part of her campaign.
“I would like to make sure that I align myself with that position. Corruption for wrong for the ANC.”
She says the ANC will endure because it has a solid foundation, adding the party is determined to correct its mistakes.
