JOHANNESBURG - Public Enterprises Minister Lynne Brown says she's had to question the veracity of the answers she's been given by Eskom's management and board.

Brown was speaking at The Power-Gen Africa conference in Sandton where power producers from across the continent have gathered.

Brown acknowledges that Eskom has been embroiled in serious allegations of maladministration and corruption.

“None of the allegations have been proven in a court of law yet, but they have fundamentally eroded the company’s integrity and that of the sovereign and will continue to do so until they are engaged by the appropriate law enforcement agencies and addressed one way or the other.”
