CAPE TOWN - Good news for motorists travelling over Chapman's Peak: The scenic route has been re-opened.
This follows a three-week closure to repair the road surface and to install stronger catch fences.
Western Cape Transport Department Spokesperson Byron Le Hoe said: “The road was closed to allow for repairs after approximately rocks came down and caused significant damage to the fences and the road surface.”
