Gigaba: SA must make extraordinarily bold decisions to grow economy
Finance Minister Malusi Gigaba is due to give details on governments inclusive economic growth action plan on Thursday.

Gigaba was speaking at the Thomson Reuters awards at the JSE in Sandton.
“We are interested in your perspective and ideas on how to best grow the economy.”
He's due to give details on governments inclusive economic growth action plan on Thursday.

He says that bold steps must be taken to achieve radical economic transformation and create more jobs.
“If we want to grow our economy at 6% on a sustainable basis, we must take extraordinarily bold decisions that change the structure of production.”
Gigaba says South Africa needs an economic discourse that will protect the economy.
