All the memes: Twitter burns Bell Pottinger over apology
Sorry is 'not good enough', Bell Pottinger.
CAPE TOWN βTwitter has reacted to Bell Pottingerβs apology with hilarious memes and a bit of anger.
The UK public relations company issued an apology on Thursday and is accused of promoting racial hatred in South Africa.
The company worked with the controversial Gupta family to do its PR and leaked emails suggest it helped the MK Military Veterans Association and the African National Congress Youth League in their campaigns to discredit critics of the Guptas & President Jacob Zuma.
The company has dismissed the lead partner involved and suspended another partner and two employees, while they investigate.
Some South Africans have poked fun at the PR firm's apology in a series of memes.
