[LISTEN] Treasury failing in its oversight of SAA, says parly committee
Parliament's Standing Committee on Finance wants to know what conditions Treasury gave SAA to improve on to ensure that the board functions more effectively.
CAPE TOWN - The Chairperson of Parliament's Standing Committee on Finance, Yunus Carrim, says the committee believes Treasury has been failing to hold South African Airways (SAA) to account and seems to have given them a bailout without any conditions.
Carrim says a new and suitable CEO needs to be appointed for SAA as soon as possible.
