CAPE TOWN – Road users in Chapman’s Peak have been warned to prepare for a toll hike in July.
From the first of next month, mini-bus taxi drivers will be charged R22 to tour the scenic route, while motorcyclists will have to cough up R29 and light motor vehicles drivers will pay R45.

The Western Cape Transport Department explains the hikes are part of a contract with Entilini operations, which provides for an inflation-linked annual increase in toll fees plus 0.4%
