Proteas coach Domingo forced to come home

CAPE TOWN - Proteas coach Russell Domingo has had to return home with immediate effect due to family reasons.

South Africa are midway through their tour of England and play the hosts in the second T20 this evening. The team lost the first T20 by nine wickets.

Domingo will leave the team in the hands of assistant coaches Adrian Birrell, bowling coach Charl Langeveldt and batting coach Neil McKenzie.

T20 and Test captain Faf du Plessis is also in South Africa awaiting the birth of his first child and is in a race against time to be back for the much-anticipated first Test at Lords on 6 July.
