Bafana lose friendly to Zambia

JOHANNESBURG - Bafana Bafana went down 2-1 to Zambia in their international friendly in Rustenburg.

Lebo Manyama scored South Africa's only goal in a match which saw Stuart Baxter field a completely different starting XI to the one that beat Nigeria in their AFCON qualifier.

The next major fixtures for both countries come in late August and early September when African qualifying for the 2018 World Cup in Russia resumes.

South Africa play back-to-back matches against Cape Verde while Zambia face Algeria twice.
