JOHANNESBURG - Murder accused Sandile Mantsoe's bail application has been postponed to 23 June.

Mantsoe made a brief appearance at the Johannesburg magistrates court.

He's accused of killing his ex-girlfriend Karabo Mokoena, burning her body and burying it in a shallow grave.

The court postponed Mantsoe’s bail proceedings mainly because of an application made by the Times Media Group to have the entire bail proceeding reported by the media.

Last month, the court ruled that only the bail judgment can be reported on and not the application due to sensitive information being divulged.

The court has now postponed both the media access application and Mantsoe's bail application to later this month.
