CAPE TOWN - The case against a Worcester father accused of murdering his one-year-old son has been postponed to next week.

The 33-year-old man, who is believed to be affiliated with a local gang in Avian Park, appeared in the local magistrates court on Thursday.

The incident occurred last week weekend.

The State claims the accused beat his child to death.

The man, however, claims the baby was struck during a stone-throwing incident between rival gangs.
