JOHANNESBURG - Three suspected hitmen are recovering in hospital after they were attacked by community members in Ivory Park.

Police say the men were rescued from an angry crowd at a local taxi rank on Thursday before they were arrested.

The police's Kay Makhubele says the suspects will appear in court once they recover.

“We are investigating this case and trying to find out whether they’re not linked to other killings.”
