Manchester attack: Prince Charles sends condolences to victims’ families
The prince says his family is deeply distressed and saddened by the appalling atrocity which took the lives of 22 people.
JOHANNESBURG - Prince Charles has sent his condolences to the families of those killed in Monday night’s terror attack in Manchester.
In a statement, the prince says his family is deeply distressed and saddened by the appalling atrocity which took the lives of 22 people and injured 59 others.
The Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the bombing.
British Prime Minister Theresa May says this attack is the worst in recent history.
“It’s now beyond doubt that the people of Manchester and of this country have fallen victim to a callous terrorist attack. An attack that targeted some of the youngest people in our society with cold calculation.“
