JOHANNESBURG – A security guard and a passerby have died after being caught in the crossfire of a taxi violence shooting in Soweto.

Police say four other people and two taxi owners sustained serious injuries in the shooting and are recovering in hospital.

Three taxi bosses were gunned down earlier this week in taxi related violence in the area.

The police’s kay Makhubele says, “The issue shooting taxi bosses in Soweto is being going on for some time and we’re on the deep hunting of these suspects.”
