Plans underway to equip Joburg fire stations with resources
Joburg Emergency Services say vehicles will be delivered to 28 fire stations over the next six months.
JOHANNESBURG – An extensive plan is underway to ensure Johannesburg fire stations are adequately equipped following concerns of low response times due to a lack of fire engines.
Joburg Emergency Services say vehicles will be delivered to 28 fire stations over the next six months.
Spokesperson Robert Mulaudzi says this will address poor response times.
“We’re looking at making sure that all the stations equally so they’ve got the enough vehicles to be able to respond to any emergency which might occur.”
