Suspected attacker killed on Roodekraal farm

JOHANNESBURG β A man believed to be part of an armed gang was killed on a Roodekraal farm on Thursday morning.
Emergency services say the had sustained a fatal gunshot wound and was declared dead on site.
Local authorities are still investigating the matter.
Officials say it appears a gang of armed men entered the farm house before the homeowner opened fire on the assailants.
ER 24's Russel Meiring said: βIt is understood that an unknown number of gunmen entered the home. The owner then apparently opened fire, killing the one.β
