Public invited to share input on CT Foreshore development projects
After voting closes, officials will consider all the proposals before deciding which development will break ground.
CAPE TOWN – The City of Cape Town has again called on residents to share their thoughts on the Foreshore development projects ahead of the closure of the exhibition.
Six projects by private developers are currently on display at the Civic Centre.
After voting closes, officials will consider all the proposals before deciding which development will break ground in about two years’ time.
The city's Brett Herron says solving the metro's unfinished highways is among the pre-requisites.
“We said to the developers that we would make the land available on condition that they resolved traffic congestion and traffic access problems to and from the city centre, and they have in their development a component of affordable housing.”
