JOHANNESBURG - Wednesday marks exactly two years since the death of Public Service and Administration Minister Collins Chabane in a car accident on the N1 between Polokwane and Mokopane.

Chabane, his driver and bodyguard were killed in the crash when a truck driver made a U-turn along the highway.

The African National Congress in Limpopo and the minister’s family will lay wreaths at the crash site.

The provincial government will be hosting a series of lectures aimed at educating South Africans about the late minister’ life.

Truck driver Amukelani Rikhotso is currently serving a six-year jail sentence after pleading guilty to culpable homicide last year.
