3 sustain serious injuries in light aircraft crash in Midrand

JOHANNESBURG - Emergency services have confirmed that a light aircraft has crashed at the intersection of the King Willow Crescent and Java Road in Midrand.

Paramedics say three men who were in the plane sustained life threatening injuries.

Netcare 911’s Chris Botha says the cause of the crash is still unknown.

“A light aircraft has crashed and burnt out totally. All three male occupants sustained critical injuries and paramedics stabilised then at the scene.”
