Man trampled to death trying to take selfies with elephants
This is the second selfie accident involving wild animals in Zimbabwe this month, and this one was fatal.
JOHANNESBURG – A man has been trampled to death in southern Zimbabwe while trying to take selfies with elephants.
The 31-year-old had tried to herd a small group of elephants to an open space when they charged him and his friends.
The state-run Chronicle is reporting that Moses Ndlovu and two friends tried to herd three elephants into an open space so they could take selfies with them.
Instead, the elephants charged them.
Ndlovu was separated from his friends.
Police say his body was only found the next day.
This is the second selfie accident involving wild animals in Zimbabwe this month and this one was fatal.
A woman was badly injured while taking photos with a caged lion in Headlands, in the east of the country, earlier this month.
