Man escapes unharmed after making emergency plane landing

CAPE TOWN - A man has escaped unscathed after having to carry out an emergency landing of a light aircraft.
He was forced to land the plane on a wine farm in Stellenbosch this morning.
It's believed the plane experienced mechanical failure.
ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring said: “We found a light aircraft lying in the field. And smoke was escaping from the engine. Paramedics immediately assisted and found out he had escaped injury.”
