Ekurhuleni authorities discover brothel in Kempton Park
Children as young as 15, who were being used as sex workers, were reportedly removed from the place.
JOHANNESBURG - The City of Ekurhuleni says authorities have discovered a brothel in Kempton Park and have removed children as young as 15 who were being used as sex workers.
The discovery was made during a joint operation with the metro police and police on Tuesday.
The city says the teenagers were lured by promises of employment or to finish their studies.

Ekurhuleni Mayor Mzwandile Masina's offices says that children as young as 18-months-old were also living in the house.
The city's Gugu Ndima says: “Some of the children or the young girls found there will be taken to places of safety around the city of Ekurhuleni. We’ve requested the Social Development Department to also intervene because children as young as 18 months were also found living with some of the girls there.”
