ANCYL labels Paul O’Sullivan a 'pseudo investigator'
Private investigator Paul O’Sullivan is a complainant in the corruption investigation into acting National Police Commissioner Khomotso Phahlane.
JOHANNESBURG – The African National Congress Youth League (ANCYL) has lashed out at forensic investigator Paul O'Sullivan, calling him a pseudo state investigator that wants to bring the security cluster into disrepute.
The league held a briefing at Luthuli House on Friday following its national executive committee meeting.
The private investigator is the complainant in the corruption investigation into acting National Police Commissioner Khomotso Phahlane.
Phahlane has been accused of taking kickbacks from police service providers in exchange for tenders an allegation he has strongly denied.
The ANCLY Njabulo Nzuza says: “It must never be allowed that self-appointed investigators like Paul O'Sullivan, who operate as pseudo state investigators to bring the security cluster into disrepute.”
