Mother expected in court after allegedly stabbing her son
The 27-year old suspect fled the scene after the attack last weekend & her son is reportedly in a stable condition in hospital.
CAPE TOWN – A mother will appear in the Khayelitsha Magistrates Court after she allegedly stabbed her two-year old son.
The 27-year old suspect fled the scene after the attack last weekend.
The toddler is reportedly in a stable condition in hospital.
The police’s Frederik van Wyk says the circumstances surrounding he incident are unclear.
“The investigations into the circumstances surrounding an attempted murder case where the mother allegedly stabbed a two-year-old boy in his neck led to the arrest of the 27-year-old suspect. Crime against women and children are high on the priority list of the Western Cape police and we’ll not tolerate such acts of violence.”
