[LISTEN] EFF vows to 'beat' Parliament's security when meeting them
The EFF's secretary-general says the fight is not over because the EFF were provoked & the security's conduct was unnecessary.
JOHANNESBURG - Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) Secretary-General Godrich Gardee has lambasted Parliament security for assaulting members during a scuffle when they were ordered to leave the National Assembly.
Gardee says the fight is not over because they were provoked and this conduct wasn’t necessary.
Guests scrambled for the exits after the forced eviction of EFF MPs in the chamber where President Jacob Zuma was waiting to deliver his State of the Nation Address (Sona).
He says his party has resorted to violence because the ruling party and the speaker have protected Zuma despite him breaking his oath of office.
