Uber driver attacked in Gauteng

JOHANNESBURG - Gauteng police are investigating after an Uber driver was attacked at the Midrand Gautrain station, allegedly by meter taxi drivers.

Police say the windows and tyres of the Uber vehicle were vandalised in the incident on Wednesday.

A case of malicious damage to property has been opened.

The police’s Kay Makhubele says, “They’ve opened a case of malicious damage to property and no one has been arrested yet. We will continue investigating.”
