JOHANNESBURG - Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane says she does not want to engage in a public spat with her predecessor and wishes to focus on the duties related to her office.
Mkhwebane has responded to advocate Thuli Madonsela's comments that she is spreading 'fake news' and 'lies'.
The Public Protector insists there are no sinister motives behind the cutting of her predecessor's pension fund and the decision was made after seeking legal advice.
