Presidency 'outraged' by Madonsela’s claims of being targeted by Zuma
Thuli Madonsela said that almost R500,000 was deducted from her pension fund over an issue relating an official car.
This comes after Madonsela’s claims that the President is the reason why a section of her pension fund has been deducted by the Public Protector’s office.
In an interview with eNCA on Firday, Madonsela said almost R500,000 was deducted from her pension fund over an issue relating an official car.
It is alleged that Madonsela did not return the BMW given to her by government even after her term as Public Protector ended last year August.
The Presidency says it is in no way involved in the remuneration or conditions of her employment and that it is unfortunate that she has decided to involve Zuma in such matters.
The Presidency goes on to say that the abuse of Zuma’s name is preposterous and disappointing.
