Triple murder accused Henri van Breda expected in court
Van Breda is accused of axing his parents and older brother to death at their home outside Stellenbosch two years ago.
CAPE TOWN - Triple murder accused Henri van Breda is back in the Western Cape High Court on Friday for a pre-trial hearing.
He's accused of axing his parents and older brother to death at their home outside Stellenbosch two years ago.
Van Breda was granted R100,000 bail after handing himself over to police last June.
Van Breda's pre-trial hearing was postponed after the State last year requested more time to provide additional documents to the defence.
Friday's court appearance is expected to be brief and 13 March has been provisionally set down as the start of his trial.
Van Breda's sister Marli, who was severely injured in the attack, is said to be one of the key witnesses who will testify against the triple murder accused.
