JOHANNESBURG – The family of a Hammanskraal woman who was burnt to death, allegedly by her boyfriend, is expected to receive DNA results today.

Authorities suspect that Meisie Molefe’s partner hid her body at his Temba home last October.

He later reported her missing but was then linked to her disappearance.

A forensics team retrieved her body two weeks ago after he confessed.

Gauteng Social Development MEC Nandi Mayathula-Khoza visited the family and offered to help the family with the burial.

Her spokesperson Mbangwa Xaba says: “The MEC offered to assist the family with psycho-social and traumatic stress counselling, as well as to assist in the burial of the deceased. The MEC said she was encouraged in that the community has joined in helping the family.”
