Radebe: There's more positivity towards SA at WEF
Last year Team SA had to deal with the turbulence created by President Jacob Zuma's decision to fire Nhlanhla Nene as Finance Minister.
SWITZERLAND - Presidency Minister Jeff Radebe says that Team SA has been met with more optimism at the World Economic Forum at Davos this year as the country was not downgraded.
Radebe also says that he believes that this is because of the work that government and business were able to do together.
Now, Jeff Radebe says he has been greeted warmly by investors here.
"There's more positivity towards South Africa and a lot of confidence that things are turning for the better, so we believe that as Team SA, our message that South Africa is open for business is resonating very well."
Radebe also says that this because of the work of the team led by Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan and Business Leadership SA head Jabu Mabuza.
